This three-day program is designed to give
microbial remediation supervisors an introduction to the core concepts
of indoor environmental remediation along with detailed instruction on
supervision of microbial remediation projects. The IAQ Training
Institute, LLC offers this Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA)
certified program for individuals who supervise microbial remediation
projects in residential or commercial buildings. Learn how to meet the
specifications set forth in proposals and submittals including:
following industry standards and guidelines, proper use of engineering
controls; setting up the containment; overseeing labor, developing and
implementing site specific safety and emergency procedures; personal
protective equipment programs; appropriate cleaning techniques and
products; removal and disposal of affected materials; and preparing
documentation during remediation.
Course attendees receive a certificate
of attendance from the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA). This
course is also designed to prepare individuals for the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC)
Certified Microbial Remediator (CMR) or Certified Microbial Remediation
Supervisor (CMRS) exam.
