Course Description: This two-day program is designed to give mold
remediation workers/technicians an introduction to the core concepts of
indoor environmental remediation along with detailed instruction and
hands-on activities specific to mold remediation. From the front
line worker up to the owner anyone can benefit from attending this
two-day course for indoor environmental workers/technicians with emphasis on
mold remediation.
Course attendees receive a Certificate of
Attendance from IAQ Training Institute, LLC (for Virginia approved
courses) and/or the Indoor Air Quality (IAQA). This course is
also designed to prepare individuals for
the American Council for Accreditation Certification (ACAC)
Certified Residential Mold Remediator (CRMR) exam.

Day Two
Day two is a hands-on day that emphasizes the importance of effective
communication as well as techniques designed to increase productivity.
Hands-on activities are conducted in an environment that encourages
safe work practices.

At the completion of Day-Two, course attendees will take a written or
oral 30 question multiple choice and true/false exam or the 50
question Virginia Mold Remediator Worker exam. Attendees achieving
a score of 70% or better will be eligible to receive the IAQA course
completion certificate or apply for a Virginia Mold Remediator Worker
license (select locations only).
