Continuing education for IAQ Training courses works as follows:
For IICRC, they award 2 CECs for the IAQTI courses. You can find them listed here.
A CIH must accrue a certain number of “Certification Maintenance” (CM) points for renewal or certification. One (1) hour of education = 0.167 CM points. You can use this formula to determine how many ABIH CM points are eligible for each of IAQTI’s courses, depending on course length etc. More details can be found here.
For ACAC, they call them “Recertification Credits” (RC). All IAQA courses are pre-approved. One hour of instruction provides one RC. Details here.
