Mold Worker

Price: $295

The Mold Worker course is a fact based training program for front line workers performing mold remediation. Everyone that lives or works in a building should understand how they can help ensure their indoor environment is dry, mold free and healthy. Moisture and mold are the most common causes of building related complaints and health issues.

This course takes approximately 16 hours and goes over what mold is, how it becomes a problem, health effects of exposure, personal protective equipment, containment construction, equipment, cleaning techniques, engineering controls and much more. The course is broken into 40 modules of varying length through which you will learn the information you need to safely perform mold remediation. The course format is what you would traditionally expect in an online training course. It’s a blend of PowerPoint narrated to video with a quiz at the end of each module. This course also includes several hours of video hands on components.

There are quizzes at the end of each module and a 50 question final exam. Upon successfully completion attendees receive a certificate of completion from IAQ Training Institute, LLC. IAQTI has been providing IAQA approved mold and indoor environmentalist training for almost 20 years. Our certificates are recognized throughout the industry. This course can also be used for continuing education credit for various organizations. Check with us about specific organization requirements.
